Greg Cosso is a seasoned business development leader with a proven track record of scaling innovative media and technology ventures. He began his career as one of the first business development hires at VentureOne, where he played a key role in expanding the client base from 50 to over 1,500 accounts, helping drive a 98% renewal rate. His success contributed to VentureOne’s acquisition by Dow Jones, followed by a subsequent acquisition by News Corp.
Recognizing his success and leadership potential, Greg was promoted to a growth leadership role at The Wall Street Journal, where he managed and expanded top-tier accounts across the Technology, Finance, and Enterprise sectors.
Following his tenure at WSJ, Greg joined Gigaom as SVP of Business Development. At Gigaom—a pioneering platform focused on humanizing the impact of technology—he helped amplify its global voice on emerging tech trends through research, events, and editorial innovation.
Greg later served as a member of the executive team at ReadWrite Labs, a leading IoT media company and accelerator with operations in the U.S. and China, focused on advancing the Internet of Things ecosystem.
Currently, Greg is the Co-Founder and Head of Partnerships at Topio Networks, a platform dedicated to catalyzing the digital transformation landscape including Edge Computing and IoT. Through research, education, and ecosystem engagement, Topio Networks connects and empowers global industry leaders driving innovation and meaningful change.
