Dr Bertie Müller is Chairman of the Society for the Study of Artificial Intelligence and Simulation of Behaviour (AISB). He is Associate Professor of Computer Science at Swansea University, where he is also Co-Director of an Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Education (ACE-CSE) and School Education Lead for Mathematics & Computer Science.
Bertie holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Hamburg, Germany. Throughout his academic career he has collaborated with many industrial partners. His main research interests are the safety, security and trustworthiness of multi-agent systems. He regularly presents at international conferences and has publications in highly-acclaimed international journals and conference proceedings. Emphasis in his current work is on ethical design of technology and on making AI work for humanity, as well as the role of AI in Cyber Security.
