Ben Levicki, originally from Cary, Illinois, is the AI Solutions Architect for the Cleveland Cavaliers, driven by his love for analytics and sports. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Carthage College with honors and earned his master’s in data science and Analytics from the Gallogly College of Engineering at Oklahoma University with applied research in combined applications of machine learning and metaheuristics.
Ben’s career began in Chicago as an analyst in media consulting and transitioned to system analytics in manufacturing before joining the Cavaliers. Starting as a data quality analyst, his passion for AI led to the first AI-focused role for any sports franchise handling both generative and machine learning projects from strategy to implementation as the organization’s AI Solutions Architect.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys hiking, volleyball, and yoga. He values spending time with family and inherited his love of Cleveland sports from his father, who is from Bay Village, Ohio.
